Question: My son just turned 21 and has decided that my Internet involvements are contrary to his beliefs, and that because I was diagnosed as having a tumor just over a year ago, it is causing me to have impaired judgment, and he is attempting to assert control over my life. As he is younger and stronger than I am, I am unable to physically prevent him from exercising physical strength against me if I displease him. I desire to have him cease trying to interact in my personal life. Is there any way that I can persuade him to cease his efforts to control my actions? He has violent tendencies and I suspect that he could easily do physical harm to me. I very much desire for him to leave my home. Can you advise me on how to bring that about without forcing the issue by authoritative involvement?

Answer: Do not attempt to face this problem alone. Find a counselor, a social worker, or a good friend who can advise and support you. If  your son is violent, get police help. 16/03

Question: Masters,  I lived with my mother for seven years as caregiver, daughter and friend.  My siblings came when they wanted without consideration of timing or situation.   When she died, they took control of the inheritance of a 100 year + family farm by selling it and not passing on the house and 20 acres surround  to keep the heritage we had been raised with and my family, cherished.  Our relationships have been permanently severed and I have tried to put the toxic situation to rest.  In fact, has the karmic lesson been learned so I can go on without any unrest in my life?  I feel as though I have let my heritage and forefathers down by not retaining the farm, as I tried so hard to keep it for my children and other generations to come.

Question: Masters, Hello, I’m a teenager and I haven’t been able to land a job for three years now. I’ve gone on interviews and tried the Stay Positive method. But the mangers keep on saying “no” all the time or I get nothing back. Rejection shouldn’t come  back to back all the time. My question is: Is there something wrong with me? Or is it not the right time? I’m always asking for money because I have no job and that’s not me. I would love to work for my money but I’m always getting rejected. I would like an answer because it hurts being rejected all the time.

Answer: You are an amazing person with a lot to give to the world. Go on believing in yourself. Find an older woman with experience to coach you through the difficulties of getting a job. You don’t have to do it alone.  9/02

What blockage that I need to uncover to open more of my heart?

Answer: You are too caught up in the mechanics of a spiritual system that you have been taught. Relax!  Go out and find other people who need help, and help them. Then, when you have done so, find out what your heart wants you to do next.  10/01
